Don't Stop Running
I have 4 weeks until my commencement ceremony, as of right now I’m…
Weight: 155
Waist: 28.5
Hips: 41
Chest: 37
Realistically I can lose up to 2lbs safely a week through diet and exercise. I would love to be back at 146 and I think I can do it. I’m going to pick up running in the morning, which means I have to be strict about going to bed at a decent hour.
But on another point, I’ve picked up logging my food on myfitnesspal again and when wandering through my past measurements I found something really interesting. Last may when I was a lovely 143 lbs, my measurements were only a tad bit smaller than the ones above. Which is further evidence of muscle weight vs fat weight. When I was running all the time I was losing weight, but not fat weight necessarily. Some of that was muscle, so while I was technically lighter I wasn’t smaller than I am now.
Now most of those 10 lbs landed in my thighs and bum, but it’s how my cards were dealt. I happen to lose weight quite easily in my stomach, my legs are an entirely different thing though. I’m probably going to take progress photos again friday morning.
You know what pisses me off? When a mutual friend of mine and my ex’s insists on bringing my ex up every time we talk.
The reason I can’t stand it is because they know about everything my ex did behind my back when we were dating and they mention it every time we talk about it.
I finally had to tell them that the reason why I don’t like talking to them about my ex is because they know so much and they won’t tell me. I also had to point out that I don’t expect them to tell me about what my ex did but I don’t want them to bring it up anymore because I feel a certain way about it.
I’m too old for “I know something you don’t know” and I’m tired of reopening old wounds from my ex just because someone else wants to talk about it.

Also, I don’t care if you drink or go to parties. I mean, I do care, in the sense that I’m concerned about your health and grades because that can start to take a toll on you after a while. I don’t think I’ll ever understand the appeal of drinking or any of that, but as long as you don’t…
Aww man, I totally understand. :/ I mean, I go out and drink from time to time but it’s never in excess.
I have the same issue with people who smoke pot. I personally don’t because I believe it’s bad for your lungs, I feel the same way about smoking in general ((the smell also give me headaches)). However, since I do live in SF it’s something that is very present.
What I don’t understand is why it’s such an issue to people that I don’t smoke. :/ I mean, I don’t care if you do…so why is it such a big deal that I don’t?

Is it weird that partially why I want to lose weight is so I can run around in white v-necks and skinny jeans?
